2018 LT and wabash trailer. All drums and shoes were replaced a few months ago. but now the brakes are pulsating, similar to what happens with a car when the rotors are warped. Bad enough that while coming to a stop, you can see the trailer bouncing up and down in the mirror. Kinda sketchy at highway speeds, big vibrations on harder braking. Sometimes feels like it doesn’t even want to work at all. Like the ABS is kicking in rapidly on/off/on/off.
anyone have this problem before? might it be a valve or relay of some kind. An ABS controller/sensor?
    Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Whenever the brakes on my tractor have done that the shop replaced my steer drums and it took care of it. They said the drums were warped. I've had it do that on a new truck so obviously the drums were faulty from the start as they didn't last. Maybe you got some faulty parts. They take a little while before they start warping early. Get those parts looked at an go from there at other possible problems.

Sounds like the air is not being dumped evenly.
Where does the vibration feel like it's starting from?

Feels like it’s the trailer only, I don’t really bobtail so can’t be sure. what do you mean “dumping evenly”?

I’ve had a similar issue, and the trailers brakes needed adjustment. That solved it. Something to do with distribution of air I believe.

My terminology is always off. I was trying to say the air released from the brakes. One of the lines may have a tiny leak causing a uneven air pressure release when you hit the brakes.
But even this didn't come out right I don't think.
Another thing. When was the last time the fifth wheel was greased.
A dry fifth wheel caused a lot of weird stuff for me. Always take my advise last. I'm usually wrong, but I try.
