3000 - 3500 is what I've been runnin'. Upgraded to 1st seat on Christmas eve.
American-Trucker and RACEFAN Thank this. -
Big Al did they let you put a inverter in your truck? and did you get a truck with an apu?

I got on with my trainer on DEC 31st. They promptly sent us on the 80/90 coridore runs. Been running like a team since day 1. Now on my second week with trainer. Time is going by pretty good. Enjoying it so far. Now sitting in Dallas waiting on Freightliner to do some repairs to our unit after being in snow for 2 weeks.
RoadWarrior1775 Thanks this. -
"Run hard or stay home" Awesome!
Last day of orientation tomorrow and hoping not to be waiting on a trainer for to long. -
Check this week (second full week after upgrade) over 1k gross, not bad at beginner rates nowdays....and that included a 34hr restart.

Most of the newer trucks (Cascadias) don't have apu's. i don't have an apu and I only have a 300 watt inverter that plugs in lighter socket for TV/DVD right now.
American-Trucker Thanks this. -
LOL Run hard! My trainer can't believe that I get behind the wheel and don't stop unless I HAVE to, like fuel, coffee, restroom, or H.O.S.
, Of course I did used to drive and was a trainer for Swift about 7 years ago, and decided to get back in the saddle when the economy went south and there where no jobs near where I live. I have to do the 6 wk cause of the time off the road..

will they allow a bigger one that hooks right up to the battery? do you know if they have any rules against refrigerators or microwaves?
