That’s what loctite is for .

    it works good
    They have different strengths

so start with the weakest one

don’t use the strongest stuff at first

also there are several ways you can help prevent the bolts from backing out if you don’t have access to loctite

taking the bolt and beating up
The threads a little bit will usually stop it from backing out .

    if
There is a nut , you can swap it for a nylock nut

I see the factory painted a line on one bolt id do the same after you loctite them very easy at a glance to see if they loosen

Well to give an update on my Volvo VNL 860 I would need to know something. Last known build date was 2/21/22 and it was not built that week. Asked for new build date and said they will not be providing a new date. The hope based off that conversation is it will be built within 2 weeks. Not gonna hold my breath on this one.

If they aren't giving you a date, then there isn't one. Been there done that with Mack. To be fair, it wasn't the dealer. It was their supplier not giving them a date that they could then project onto waiting orders. That said, it took the VP of all the Atlanta area dealers weighing in to get them to explain that, after they quit replying to the salesman's emails. And he was only writing them once a week, so not exactly making a pest of himself.

I understand. But you are still the customer and are paying a lot for that equipment. The least they can do is give updates. I don’t care what the excuses are. They didn’t cause the issue…….but neither did you.
