Your comments reminded me of last year when I started my authority. Needed a dry van. Most companies wouldn’t deal with new authority or one truck. The one that would wanted business reference which I didn’t have since I was brand new. They said they wouldn’t base it on my personal credit (it wasn’t bad, just full) They turned me down with the reason being…….personal credit. We could have skipped everything if they had been honest up front.

UN1203 on the tanker is gasoline.

Fuel oil and propane are 1223 and 1075 IIRC.

Had it once that I know of. I really wanted every variant. But gave up paying attention because the media directed me to another situation.

My favorite salesman tactic is when they ask “ what kind of payment are you looking for ?” I’ve had quite a few that hate my guts, by the time the deal is finally done. Two that outright refused to deal with me again. Guess they can’t handle it when the tables get turned. It’s fun for me. No hard feelings. Just part of the game. Last car purchased, I brought my daughter along. Told her to pay attention. Let the Loan Officer pitch her numbers, while checking them on my calculator. When I exposed her lies, She went from Super Sweet to Cold ##### from hell. Great lesson for my daughter. Couldn’t ask for a better example.

Had a friend (Fellow driver in a 2nd truck/not my teammate) in a bar around the corner from the Anna Layne Hotel in Frisco. He had one of the thinly clad dancers off the top of the bar over to one of the private pulpits offside. Was doing Braille for some "firm top meat" in exploratory mode and wandered down stream and hit a "rigid " bone. Cursed, flung the tea "she" had ordered for a 10 spot and stalked out. Grady Nash never forgave me and Edgar Barnett for taking him there. But he wanted to go to one of them places where women dance on the bar you are drinking at.
