We used to tow coworks cars to the shopping center down the street. Put it in a spot. Or if you knew someone was drinking in a bar. Grab thier vehicle and tow it back to shop. Kept everyone on thier toes!

But the buddy with a jeep. Well that fit into the 2 bay cross dock, dock high. Nothing bigger than a forklift fit the ramp. Had to go in with a rollback, and come out with one too.

Idling a engine, is bad. Its only made to go roundy, roundy so many times. Old or new.

With that said, if its uncomfortably cold/or hot its gonna Idle. I can afford it. Cheaper than a hotel, and sometimes sleep better than at home.

I dont try to idle for no reason. If I'm getting out of the truck, cool turbo down and shut it off. Don't need to run if I'm not inside or driving.

With that, anyone can choose what they wanna do. You can't afford to idle one night, yet have a collection of color matched flip flops. Thats your business.

BE CONCERNED When Some Addle Brained Dunderhead "Rolls Into Your Truck" From Lack of Setting The Brakes, OR When Some Juicy Fruit Bangs on Your Front Door Wanting Some Money or....Do Ya A "favor".

With that practice you’d probably be pretty good at arctic oil changes. Have to do it nascar pit stop style, or getting it running again will make you cry.

I guess some drivers like the vibration of the truck when idling. I have an apu so life is good. Before I had a truck with an apu, I'd idle in extreme conditions either way. I know one thing....with these newer trucks, you'll have quicker soot buildup if you idle alot.

Me too. Something with the vibration. Even with the forklift coming in and out I won't wake up til their pounding on my door with the paperwork.

And for whatever reason all that vibration makes me have to piss asap when I wake up Lol.

RefMata, shooter19802003 and buddyd157 Thank this.
