Anyways, the guy lost his truck due to poor business management decisions. It's a lesson a lot of people are here could learn from. I watch O/O's come and go everyday because they can't handle running a business. I have a family too and I make decisions based on their future welfare, not a shiny truck and a bunch of toys.runningman0661, Badmon, bigguns and 2 others Thank this. -
As long as this administration is in power I don’t believe fuels going to go down.
In fact it will continue to go up until 2024. So $7 a gallon is reality and might even see $8Siinman, shooter19802003 and Rideandrepair Thank this. -

Well $1.00 a gallon increase, boils down to .16 cpm increased operating costs. For those getting over 6 mpg, and also getting a FSC. Like many Lease Operators do, they’ll be fine. Even better. For myself, I’ll need to make more on my Loads, or take a cut. It has to come from somewhere. Time will tell. For now, if I can just get 6 mpg, I’ll be happy. Been taking cheap fuel for granted too long.
Siinman, tiddlytanker and ProfessionalNoticer Thank this. -

So the idea is to be like a grizzly bear. Amass a lot of body fat while you can and then when it's winter, it is time to hole up and sleep through it. Then in Spring you get out of the hole and get at those berries, honey, and salmon, which are everywhere. That's a grizzly bear approach...to sleep through cold days.
