Hello Pot...meet Kettle!! -
Every time I get in the truck with Bill, I am so excited to be back on the road and doing what we love. I always give the new company the benefit of the doubt and the negative attitude is not brought about by myself or Bill because some aspects of trucking are the same no matter where you go. The negative mindset kicks in after being s^%$ upon yet again by another company that treats drivers like cattle that can be herded, left out in the cold or poked with a cattle prod INSTEAD of the professional CDL-A drivers that they are. My apologies to the Prime cheerleaders yet again but when Bill turned in his truck and there was someone climbing in it to unpack his belongings before Bill had even cleared out his, the cattle image became very clear. Don't let that drivers seat get cold!!!cactusjack Thanks this.

Prime Inc, dba New Prime Inc., after my recent experience with them, finding out where they're ripping the lease operators off. No. 1: you're paying pump price plus .324 cpm even when fueling in their network; #2: Not paying detention time when it's the shipper's fault (Tyson Foods) for not having enough product; #3: waiting 14 hours to get loaded when you get there 2 hours before appointment. Their excuse:"not in the contract." They send you how much the run pays, then when you get your settlement statement, it's missing $500-$1000 from it. They back pedal when you call them on it' never get back to you. The company drivers get the good loads, the lease operators get the left-overs that don't pay anything or you might get one good one when they can't find a company truck. We kept a strict budget when we started with Prime. I lost my house, almost both of my cars; however, fortunately my old employer hired me back when business picked back up. This is 2nd time I've done the lease operator. When I was with CRL the first time doing Walmart-dedicated I made money - just had a junkie truck that was leased through their leasing company. I wouldn't recommend anybody to lease-operate with Prime especially solo, you will go broke and lose everything for which you have worked.
halfburn, billsgirl and cactusjack Thank this.
