I hear ya. My plan was to replace truck&trailer every 4 years but obviously with today's prices that's not happening.

If I start having too many emission problems I'll permanently fix it ;)

Yeah, I have a feeling that's going to come to a screeching halt here pretty quick. This current, wanna be green regime will see to that one way or another.

I'd love to see ALL of them permanently eliminated!!! As would many many others, haha.

you didn’t answer the question. Your claiming banks are bailed out all the time. 2008 was the only time I’ve heard of it.

If banks had have been bailed out after that let me know.

the difference in 2008 and now is that in 2008 the issue was home loans not commercial loans which are not backed by Fannie may and Freddie Mack.

commercial loans on the other hand are not government backed and won’t see a bailout.

    Rideandrepair Thanks this.

Mt Detroit gets 175-225 mpg on def, I believe all the other brands are very similar.
Yeah, an airbag in the steering wheel, mine doesn’t have any others, and I really don’t know if the newer trucks do either.

Yes Freightliner has or had an airbag and rollover protection system available on the last Gen Cascadia. No one ever ordered it because the cheap ### fleets don't care. You could also get the "bed & breakfast" table sleeper option it was a $5,500 option IIRC. Found it out when considering ordering a glider kit from them.
