Just put Junior Squid on his merry way back to the big town of JAX — might end up having a little talk in the shop with Uncle Jack this afternoon

Nice collection. I worked with a fella from Iowa. He had a huge collection. Along with old Real Tractors. They take that stuff seriously out in Iowa. Can only watch the corn grow for so long. Lot of classic Toys of all types out that way.

I was first told I was a diabetic many years ago. I generally kept mine under control by taking metformin. I think I have written about this before. In the space of about 6 months, I was told I will now need to take insulin and was officially told I had epilepsy. While rare there are type II diabetics that require insulin. Dealing with the loss of my driver's license, with the ever-increasing seizures, AND learning to inject myself placed me into a depression. I can only imagine what a child goes through. Almost every time I see my neurologist I see a child in the waiting room. Watching a child deal with an absence seizure can rip your heart out. I have these #### things. I have normally about 3 to 4 a day. Jeez I don't know why I am writing this. I sound like I am crying and maybe I am. I'm almost 64 years old and these things bring me to my knees. I can only imagine how a child feels.
The below is my position normally when I have a Tonic-Clonic Seizure. Keri has recorded mine and I do this exact same thing. I'm placing this behind a spoiler so that nobody can be forced to look at it. I don't remember having them.
Drivers if you were to come upon a person having one of these do you know how to handle it? Ignorance can harm the victim. I have a chipped tooth today because somebody tried to put something in my mouth!LoSt_AgAiN, pete781693, Rideandrepair and 8 others Thank this. -

So I decided to try a antique finish on this piece... Here is the process.
Oil applied and allowed to dry.
Tan-Kote applied and allowed to dry.
Antique applied and allowed to dry.
Antique buffed off.
Another application of Tan-Kote.
Final product after yet another application of Tan-Kote.
And here us a pic of it in natural light from the kitchen window.
I'm super excited to show my daughter when she gets home.Attached Files:
