well,Was going to arrive today but yesterday I called and the shipper said he was delayed by Government liquidation. They told him they load out Tuesday to thursday. He gets there and they only load out on Thursday.I could have warned him about that bunch of idiots.Well,it might be here Friday or maybe Saturday.

Tell you what those tugs can tow alot of heavy stuff use to work at the airport in Charlottesville Virginia we towed alot of airplanes and just the thought of towing a 40 million dollar airplane with a worn out piece of junk tug kinda scares you cuz if that thing takes off and your up hill good luck trying to stop that expensive plane. We had a kid that backed a beachcraft King Air 350 into the gulfstream G5 it was 80,000.00 for a little part that got scratched the kid got a raise and was upgraded to Supervisor thats messed up. I got to meet some famous people like Howie Long and John Gresham, and of course Dave Matthew's band.

Yea,I only gave $250 for the tug.Fuel tank was rusted out.Master cylinder is a trot line sinker, brake lines rusted out, brand new tires,230 flat head L6 engine.Runs ok.Need to get new plugs, wires, cap and button for it.Got the master cylinder. For a 1940s Ford car with a flathead V8.....Exact match for the original.Gonna use it for a 5500Lb ATV at the local dirt track.I think it will push the race car pretty good.....

As for the Jimmy.I got it for a song.$1300.But gave the seller an extra $100 cause it was christmas.Engine was rebuilt a couple years ago and never used.It was a project truck for him that he has given up on.Gonna be a toy for me.List of things I am gonna do first off is straight pipe and huge texas bumper with as many chicken lights as I can get.Might pull the lift blocks out too as the truck has 3" blocks from the factory.Lower it down a bit.

you prolly know this allready but when you change the plug wires on the flat head make sure you get wire core ones for some reason the others seem to break down real quick with point ignition. Is the general home yet??

Roger that on the plug wires. As for the General,Nope.I need to call the hot shot guy.I got the back haul spot so I can't be too anxious. He is hauling my load on his way back home.He got delayed a full day Wednesday to thursday so I don't know if that messed up any down stream pickups and drop offs.Oh well.It gets here when I gets here.

Nah,it has a fixed 5th wheel. But I might change that.It was an old Amoco tanker yanker from the Refinery up in St Louis.I only gave $1400 bucks for it(1300 buck plus I gave the seller an extra $100 cause it was Christmas). It needs some work but everything is there.THe mirrors are in the shed, along with marker lights, horn and other parts.I really wish it was a long nose with a steel frame.I was going to build a Snow man 2 truck but being a short nose and aluminum frame I guess I will just go back to a customized to my likings plan.20-22 inch square Texas bumper with 2 oval LED lights at the bottom corners,18 2" rounds along the entire bottom edge and 4 rounds in the ends facing outward.Along with straight dual stacks(I got a pair fo 8x60 necked down to 5 I picked up off ebay for $80 I am gonna try out.Might be too big for this truck.I also have a pair of 5x60 stacks with round hole heat shields and flappers that I might try.Not sure if I want to keep the air starter on it or not.Depends on how many times I run outta air and have to get a jump.I do love the sound of a air starter though.Home base won't be bad.I have a deuce and a half I can piggy back on for air.And at the plant I can run a hose out the door from the shop air.
