Ponderosa and Sizzler were separate companies far as I know.

Not seen a Ponderosa since the mid 80s. They all left the Northern VA area, and I never saw one in DC..ever. Same with Sizzler. Though they stuck it out in VA longer than Ponderosa did. Seem to recall there being one in Fredericksburg, Va. Either a Sizzler or a Ponderosa..but that was in the early 80s, before that area got built up so much.

Outback....Not the same anymore. Last couple of times I've gone to one, my thought was "I could've done this better on a cheap 15 dollar grill and saved myself a ton of money".

While I still like steak, it's been replaced in my top food lists with tacos/bacon tied at 1, 2 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9. 10th is for steak.
