Freymiller Training

I see this on their website. It tells me that they will help you get your CDL. It reads, "Looking to get your CDL?"
Freymiller’s New Driver Program features:

• One-on-one on-the-job training
• PeopleNet system education
• Learn all company policies and procedures
• Final road test exam

I call the recruiting department and they said that they don't have a school... very miss-leading.

 

not in shool now. Was going with Schneider but their recruiter never filed the reservations so I went back home. I did call Freymiller and they said that they don't do a school. I guess that's what it is, an old website.

I was at Truck Dynasty Driving School and they had 10 students per truck. One of the trainers started out by pointing at the steering wheel and said, "see this round thing, it's a steering wheel." She was dead serious, and then showed everyone actually how to step on an excelerator.

All the new students would have to wait all day, 6 plus hours before they got any wheel time, and this was everyday. The head recruiter would make threats to the students, stupid stuff that was uncalled for,

On the 3rd day I sent an email to CFI that it appears that no one was getting the time they needed. CFI got a little upset, sent the letter to the owner of the school and later that day I was sent on my way.

The trainers would contradict the other trainers and at times the students were left alone trying to figure things out for themselves. I don't regret home, anything to get away from this school. It was a horrible experience. All the students supported my decision and actually thanked me for telling CFI because they all felt something needed to be done.

At the hotel I later learned that the school called the hotel, but the girl at the hotel said that she called the school. The other students tried their best to get me another hotel for the night and even offered to by me dinner, but I said no. Went home the next day.

Not having much luck with getting back in the game so I made more phone calls and moving forward. I called one school and they said that I can come down and test out as I have already driven for several years. At least that way I don't have to deal with 10-15 students per truck.

I haven't heard anything regarding the contract. The contract was breached by the school so that's on them.
