i wonder how they are still in business . i think their business hasnt turned a profit in 10 years or more

 

I do when the younger neighbors have a party. Have to show them I can still out drink them. End up face down in the front yard because another 15 feet is just too far to walk. Then the 2-3 day hangover.

Luckily they had a kid so no more wild parties. Had my son 4/2020 and haven’t been fall down drunk since 3/2020. Being responsible sucks.

 

They are just like sears , a shadow of their former selves and been circling the drain for years.

Too bad, JC Penny’s suffered from bland everything. Best deals on Quality sheets, curtains, pillows, and brassieres, (so I’ve heard). Custom Draperies are very expensive. I hate hanging them. After re habbing 2 houses, the last thing- hanging drapes and blinds is the hardest part. Wife gets the ideas, I have to make it all work. I’m dreading it on this house, if I ever get it finished.

 

We delivered, Met our daughter for dinner. The Load had a 25’ double foil bubble insulation blanket over it, wasn’t really needed. I kept it. The possibilities are endless. Been planning on buying some. Glad I didn’t. Use some in the house on heat ducts inside outside walls. And Use it on the Truck. Need to insulate it good. Too noisy inside. #### cheap Freightliners.

This comment reminded me of something a very good friend told me once. He and his lovely wife live in Jersey about 30 minutes from the GW. He and his wife were actually ON the GW on Jan 15th, 2009 that afternoon headed to a meeting in the city! They actually watched US Air Flight 1549 cross overhead. Anybody that crosses the GW much knows what a CF those toll gates are. This is where they were on the top section when that airbus crossed overhead.
