Our little state prides itself on being backwards, and so do the natives. That said, I believe my first time registration took no longer than a week.


The state commercial vehicle department shifted to employees working from home pretty quickly during the great pandemic. Service was actually pretty good and many of the employees would answer emails etc. before or after hours.

I would be going nuts if I were you. I hope they get you going soon!

 

yeah they are weeks behind in processing. when i sent it in the first time. it took 3 week to process, only for them to tell me it was denied because i missed a signature on one of the pages... instead of just emailing me and tell me to upload a new document with the signature , no lets send it all back in the mail... have to resign everything then send it all back in ... that was on february 15 i sent it back.. i got a tracking number so i have proof they recieved it still no word on it. they dont answer emails they are unhelpful on the phone saying they process paperwork in the order it comes in... just a complete pain in the ###.

It’s aggravating. I don’t like not being able to deal face to face, or at least over the phone. My Mortgage Servicer is jerking me around. They say my PMI insurance is due to drop off in April. That’s based on a letter they sent me last November. I’ve since paid about $2000 extra on Principal. My pmi should have been dropped a couple months ago. The criteria is having a 78% LTV ratio based on the original Loan amount. I closed 2 mos. before they changed the rules to Pmi for the life of the Loan. I could have refinanced out of it years ago. I stuck with it because it’s an assumable loan. Good selling point, when rates increase. Now they tell me I need to fax a letter requesting the Pmi be removed, I think they’re violating a Law that was part of Banking Reform. Law says Mortgage Companies have to remove it automatically when Eligible. The best part? The Department is a non reply department. Communication by Fax only. New one on me. Bunch of BS. They owe me at least $190, for last 2 mos charged. They’re probably right on the Legal requirements, with the November letter. Meanwhile they’re playing dumb. How is it possible that a Truckdriver understands the Mortgage rules better than they do? It’s impossible. They all love it this way. Take your money, while not having deal with you. Technology is handy for doing many things. Double edged Sword sometimes. I’m going to find out for sure if they owe me money. Make them pay. It’s the principle of it. Ha ha, principle get it?
