    Think I have like 30 ( milk crate full) of them in the garage some where. They are great for all sorts of stuff. Now that you mentioned them, I think I need to dig them out. They may be useful.

    Unfortunately, for the same reason you carry a saw or reciprocating saw, to cut those overhanging dunnage that makes the load oversize, it's a necessary evil. :) Trust me, I'm no carpenter you'd want building your house, but I will do what's needed for my load. :)
