I have my grandparents old one at my moms house but I think all the equipment was taken out. I remember using the record player as a child.

Do you also like getting kicked in the nads more then sex?

Maybe it's the fact that I grew up in Chicago where 99.5 was country, 99.9 was religious, 100.3 was "adult contemporary", 100.7 was religious, 101.1 was pop, 100.5 was Spanish, and 101.9 was rock has colored my experience with analog tuners, but spending extra money just so you can spend 15 minutes of minute adjustments trying to get the station you want is beyond asinine. Back in high school, once we got the boom box dialed in, we could not move it because we would change stations.

The cabinet is the hard part. If it’s in good solid shape, the wood can be refinished. Getting the electronic parts is easy. Plenty of newer pieces that will work.

I have a sense of adventure.

I wanted to spend the time before curfew hit trying to explore Angie, not trying to find a friggin radio station.

Its in really good shape. I would like the original electronics as they were good quality and I’m a stickler for keeping everything original. Not sure which family member thought it was a good idea to separate them. Family does stupid crap when people pass away.

I didn't have a tape deck. I was rolling a 1981 Ford wagon - plenty of space in the back but moving the knob 1/32 of an inch to get from my dad's country station to Angie's pop station was harder then getting her bra off.
