There's an 11'4" underpass in Denver that gets hit a couple times a month, and most of the drivers that hit it are using WAZE or Google Maps

I started driving in 1980. I was skeptical at first when I first saw the GPS devices. Then I went and bought one. I was immediately impressed and I haven't looked back. They do a lot more than just navigate you from one spot to another which is about all you can do by using the old-fashioned Rand McNally.
Like I said, we still need to use our heads about it all. That's supposed to be a basic trucker trait. That seems to be a lost characteristic in the modern trucking world.

I use a GPS every day based solely on the fact that I am a daydreamer and will end up not going where I should. Missed turns and such because I saw something stupid that won’t leave my mind.

Truckers path is fairly good until you get yourself in the situation. Maybe you missed the shipper or receiver on your going down some backwards side road. It’s suggested remedy to get out of a such a situation would be a challenge for a golf cart many times. Other than that it works fairly well.

I use iOS maps and inroute for when I need to go the round about way.

I also have a nice fancy smartphone to get as much information as I can to bypass bad roads.

Still roll across a few weight restricted bridges but they ain't collapsed yet lmao.

Well yeah, but so were changing gears, running an engine without melting the turbocharger off if it, bumping a dock without destroying 2 trucks and a van trailer, using your brakes without putting it in the ditch. Those are pretty basic trucker traits. Seem to be lost characteristics too.

I mainly use Google maps, I usually avoid county roads and streets but also I am subscribed to trucker path as well, so I use that to find truck stops on my last hour.
