Of course none of this was in the paperwork you signed.
The last line is the heart of the matter. You falsified your log book they caught you, and now you're singing the blues -
I was gonna say the same thing, wasnt all of this info in your contract you signed? Running legal (qlcom/gps) and following there routing, didnt you know this before signing? As for $150.00 a week advancement, how could you possibly need this much for scales, oil etc..??
-
He says they give you $150 a week for scales and personal. That sounds like that is on top of any wages earned.
-
No that is part of your pay. They will let you take up to $150 a week in advances. From which everything you need has to come from. If you need more TS. If you want toll money, You have to justify it with them first. If they say that there is no need for toll money or that much money then you will not get it.
-
Then wouldn't any toles that aren't reimbursed be a deductable business expence?
-
YES..
currently may does reimburse tolls / receipt needed.
also they are using the pre-pass syestem. the days of shucking out 150 dollars to get to the east coast are gone. thx. goodness.TB John Thanks this. -
may trucking is an ok company to work for ,but they have now gone to paperless log system. The miles are good and pay is alright. You deffinately need to plan your trips and where to stop for your whole trip before take off. Keep ontop of your HOS or you will get .... the DM are very personable but you need to keep up on any ?'s yoou may have or you wont get n answer. It used to be alot better until the kids took over and want more $$$$ for themselves
-
Oh , Great-Wide does not own may. It is family owned ooops left that out
-
I have an O/O friend that drives for May and he has been telling me about May going paperless. They can't make the O/O do it. Says in there contracts that the co. can not hook anything up to the engines. Besides the paperless system has problems with O/O bobtailing when ever they fill like it.
