The per diem is for the driver. If a company is paying the per diem as they are stating it is hurting the driver.

Do you have your CDL or Class C ? If you have a CDL then you will need to take there refresher course which is the same as if you were a new driver for Central, then you go out with a trainer for 28 days and if all goes well you may be upgraded to a Company Driver. I would suggest reading this thread real thoroughly thought. I am about to upgrade and I am really concerned about what miles I will be getting as a company driver when freight is at an all time low. Also note, Central is a training outfit, from what I understand they are making more $$ on training than on hauling freight with all of the TAX incentives the Obama administration is handing out on job re-training. Just a thought you might want to keep in mind.

Then you will need to call Central and they will schedule you to come to school. You will have to agree to atleast one year to get the discounted school rate of $1,200.00. Once you are upgraded to a company driver, $25.00 per week will be deducted from you check for one year. You should be good to go as long as you have no Criminal history or recent drug usage, Central does a through background check.
