I alway bypass the GW. I know the corrosive HazMat must use the top deck.

that scale at the line is a pain to get around, and traffic on 95 sucks in general.
684 is the least miles, Newburgh beacon is cheapest tolls, but you burn it in fuel on the hills.

Doesn’t matter time of day, I’ve sat on that bridge for hours in the middle of the night just as much as daylight.

$24 per axle north bound detours me enough

That's not the Gov. Cuomo bridge on I- 84. That is the Newburgh Beacon bridge. No haz mat restrictions there. Again, I-87 N to I-84. Easy ride,no traffic. No back-ups.

And it's not a significant difference in miles, which really surprised me. More and more looking like I-84 is the way to go.

Just Expect a ~.5 mpg hit on the hills, it’s $11 to cross the beacon and $7 to run up one exit from Harriman to Newburgh, the tap/whatever douchebag governor it’s named after now is $48 and 11 miles shorter

rest area at the ct line in Danbury as well as southington on 84 and Meriden on 91, dont even bother with the ta.

you can stop in Brewster NY for food and park at kohl’s for the diner but the slob crew ruined overnight parking there. there’s a pride in Hartford with showers and food as well if you need it

Where is this NYC you speak of? I can't find it in my RM Atlas.
