Every line on my W9 is shot. Starting fresh with all new lines and valves. Cost and simplicity was a huge factor in my decision to go with plastic lines for the retrofit.

I don't have any exact numbers on hand. I've only just removed all the old braided lines. I haven't bought any parts yet. From what I've looked into so far its not worth it for me to go with braided again. Plus I'm adding steer axle brakes and deleting a drive axle so there'll be a lot of changes made from the original plumbing.

I had replaced the copper line that goes from compressor on dr side all the way around the back of engine to the dryer, which had been coupled a few times due to vibration. replaced with 1 solid steel braided line. cost $100,00 put in on my self. going around a hot engine, plus all the obstacles made me decide to go with the steel on this one line.
