Check your injectors really carefully. On a cold start check each cylinder with an IR thermometer. You may find one hole a little colder than the others as it warms up. That’s the bad one. That could be dangerous. They either ####ed a nozzle up when they were out on the bench and the spray pattern is messed up, or you have a bad spray pattern from an injector about to drop a tip. My 5EK started missing a bit, never got around to hunting it down before the tip came off and it put the liner, piston and half the connecting rod out through the side of it.

When you have the injector out get a rubber tip blow gun and pressure up that cylinder to see if its leaking possibly. one less thing to be guessing about.
