Two or three drivers will park at the pump tonight so they don’t have to walk to far for their Subway.

And if they can’t find a broken pump, they’ll just stop at any working pump, put a barrel behind their truck or perhaps yellow tape. Then call it a ten.

@mjd4277 Should take a poll on how many times we have personally seen this in live action. I have 3 times that I can recall. Along with another half dozen times I’ve rolled up to the scene of the crime sometime after it had happened to witness a serviceman wrenching on a new hose, coupler and nozzle with someone else shoveling the 80 lbs. of quick dry into a trash can. Lol

I haven’t personally seen it done to a truck, yet. However, I have seen a couple of times where the service man is replacing the hose at the fuel pumps, most recently about three weeks ago at the “flying hook” in Carlisle, Pennsylvania!lol

I noticed a fuel nozzle and about 6 or 8 feet of hose laying by the fog line on the interstate a few weeks back. I was picturing the hose flopping around beating against the side of some poor fools rig as they motored along oblivious to their own incompetence.

Put a smile on my face!

A co driver at a former company fueled up near the yard he saw a nozzle and 4 feet of hose by the next pump . He tossed it in his cubby then proceeded to put it sticking out of the company brown nosers passenger tank at the yard . That got some attention from other drivers lol
