Yup, and idiots like that is what made me hate truck drivers so bad. All the idiots have an opinion.....even when you don't ask for it.

 

I'm glad I'm not the only truck driver (I assume that you are or were one) that generally hates truck drivers. There's a reason I keep to myself in this truck.

 

Pocket tee with a pen, cargo shorts, boots, and a hat. My trucking uniform my entire 11 year career.

 

That kind of attire is just fine.. Those that want to wear basketball style shorts where they’re halfway down their behinds and wearing flip-flops are the problem… I have even seen drivers walking into a petro one afternoon wearing pajamas… That is ridiculous as well..

 

Still driving and I love it, just hate the idiots. Drove a year for Burlington Motor carrier then move to Jb Hunt. Worked for them for five years and went to a small mom and pop. Lasted 6 months and started at New Century transportation. 9 years there then landed at ABF. Here over 8 years. This where I will retire from. Another 8 or so years from now.

 

That's about what I like to wear except I wear slip on shoes to keep from tracking dirt into the sleeper area. I'm still wearing long pants now but it's getting warm enough for cargo shorts again.

 

Going to Chicago Bev for the first time. Y'all drop your knowledge other than the obvious "use the directions in the macro."

 

441 N Kilbourne? That used to be a rough neighborhood, the west side of Chicago has more crime and violence than the south side does.

 

I didn’t get a truck number but a Millis driver heading south on i35 broke down in the construction zone in Waco, TX today.
There was no shoulder, he just blocked the hammer lane.
It was a pretty good back up considering it was 5pm. Hope he gets some rest had to be stressful.

 

There's a couple of clueless folks who parked their RV in the crowded Loves I'm staying at tonight. I wonder what they'll find if they do a pretrip before they leave?
