I don't think anyone sends thier oil to a chemist, you usually change your oil by the mileage or with heavy equip. by the hours. Trannys and the rears use 80W to !20W gear oil not the same oil used in the engine.

Hey W900 that 359 your talkin about it wouldnt happen to be yellow and orange would It? As for truck service i'll tel ya what the "old timers" told me when i was startin out..... Grease is cheap parts are expensive..... Thats what i live by with mine..... If your cosidering goin into dump service... your service intervals need to be closer than over the road trucks.... very harsh enviroment.... I try to grease weekly but no longer than every two... My tri axle dump (owned it since new) has almost 600,000 on the clock and king pins are still tight as new, still has original tie rod ends and drag link... those are very common failures when not greased regulary, exspecialy with all the twisting youll do and the the dirt youll run in..... as for what kind of grease synthetic or dino or what brand, i'll make no comment (as to avoid the great grease debate of 2010) but i will say that any grease is better than no grease....... I could put you in touch with some o/o friends of mine who didnt follow the "old timer" ways , one has replaced all the the parts i listed earlier with not ever half the miles (same make and model just 4 years newer) .... My srevice manual says the synthetic lube in my rears and trans can go to 300,000 but i tend to change it every 100,000-150,000 for me that equals every year to year n an a half... Sorry for the long winded reply, but its easier to save money than make it .. Just one more thing than i'm gone... Being an o/o is not a job its a lifestyle.... good luck :biggrin_25525:

Nope! Gunmetal metallic...It originally came from the factory with a 36" sit down sleeper but a few years ago I helped him stretch it to a 300" wheelbase and he put an a custom built sleeper that's about 5 million square feet inside and has every convenience known to man...

    It's pretty cool.
