Are they just sitting raw dog on the deck? I’ve always had a double 2x4 18” or so square under tank heads.

We recently acquired a double drop trailer with limited tie downs that will mostly be used for tall reels of conduit and god knows what else, so I’m definitely interested in learning some more creativity with securement lol.staceydude, JonJon78, God prefers Diesels and 6 others Thank this. -
maybe post a picture on the trailer from the sides and we can brainstorm ideas.staceydude, God prefers Diesels, PoleCrusher and 6 others Thank this. -

What is a violation for "Damaged Securement System"?
I'm drawing a blank.... Anyone know?
My company sends out a weekly inspection report and a driver received that violation in Texas.God prefers Diesels, cke, CAXPT and 5 others Thank this. -

I was thinking if a trailer has a built in headboard and thats damaged but the driver was including that as part of his securement versus throwing a extra strap, could that be it or no? Not sure if a headboard could even be a violation since its not required, but maybe if its part of the "system"?Last edited: Apr 15, 2022

Only thing I can think of is something not permanently attached to the trailer and not the tie down itself.God prefers Diesels, cke, CAXPT and 6 others Thank this. -
