Why is that out of curiosity? Red wings I've heard are good, but so expensive!MACK E-6 Thanks this.

I suggest airing your feet out daily. Leaving your feet cramped up in a hot, sweaty and dark environment is like a fungal petri dish.....please stop the spread of fungal foot....lol

I’ve been driving with these boots. The weight of the boots makes firm braking more precise for me. I do drag in more dirt on the floor because of it but I always sweep and mop the floor the weekend I get home. Also they’re great in deep snow. Dunno why they call them tactical tho you can’t run properly on these SOBs. Ever since I got used to driving in these I can’t stand driving on regular sneakers now let alone barefoot.

Every time I’ve went cheap on boots, I’ve always regretted it in some way. Either they didn’t last or they were uncomfortable as can be.
I’ve been wearing Red Wing #2408s for over 15 years now and I’ve went through maybe 4 pairs in that time.TooTiredToTalk and Geekonthestreet Thank this. -
I drive in nikes. I used to drive in my steel toes but I started to develop foot fungus and decided to regress to my tried and true laborer outfit. Nikes and sweatpants. Pure comfort.

Nice to know in case I ever decide to give up my boots, but I'm pretty stuck on them. They've done pretty well IMO, haven't lasted much over a year (at least the inside), but considering I only wear these shoes whether I'm working or not and I've worn them for work, hiking, everyday life....I would say they've done well. I think they were like $130 or something like that. Plus I just don't have the patience to tie up shoes when I just wanna jump out the truck and get things done. I mean I know it only takes a matter of seconds to tie them, but I bust my butt elsewhere and at work. So I figure I will be lazy about tying shoes LOL

I wore my $40 Walmart specials today that I usually wear for Saturday runs since all I had to do was a drop and hook. They’re a bit like the ones @Ffx95 posted earlier. They look comfortable but the soles are a bit too hard to want to wear on a 20+ stop run.
Yours sound well worth it if those are your cup of tea.Ffx95 and TooTiredToTalk Thank this. -
Are you local? 20+ stops sounds like when I used to do UPS....okay maybe a few hundred short though lolMACK E-6 Thanks this.
