There is so much wrong with this I don't know where to start.

    1. Its Chicago. When I used to run from Eden Wisconsin to U.S. Steel in Gary, it wasn't uncommon for trucks to "Double up" and follow each other to get thru traffic.

    2. This prick killed a fellow trucker, drove for about an hour, disposed of the murder weapon at his dump site in Racine, waited all weekend and then and ONLY then was arrested on Monday Morning. This moron deserves life without parole.

I used to work for the trucking company that this driver worked for, (Star Line Trucking out of New Berlin Wisconsin) during all of our safety meetings (We had 3 a year) the very topic of road rage was brought up at all of them. And especially to the Tractor Trailer drivers who run Chicago.

Unfortunately I see the potential for Starline to be run out of business, because of the careless stupid actions of one of its owner-operators.

I was born, raised, and drove a truck out of chicago, seen some crazy things, and some really stupid crap in the city, but this one is just down right one for the books.

So what you think that tailgating someone is appropriate behavior? So are you one of the drivers, that thinks its ok to tailgate a family in a SUV out on the interstate. When I see this, I ask the offending driver if he would like some idiot driver riding that close to his wife and children.

Its sad one driver dead, and one who for all intents and purpose has thrown his life away as well. All over some macho BS over the CB radio. Thats why 99% of the time I keep my radio turned down anymore.

The driver who was killed was from Sparta, which is where I live. I was surprised to find this story on the forum here. He drove for Pehler out of Arcadia, WI

    Sad indeed
Ive been called to the shoulder more then a Few times over the years
once they see I ain't gonna be a short task(size) its generally a short clarification discussion and we are on our way shortly :biggrin_25525:
Heaven forbid they ever flash a blade :biggrin_25510:

I would still like some better details on the incident,my gut tells me the one with the blade was the one crying about the tailgating

I have had a few PM's on this and I'll tell ya all the very same thing
I wasn't raised a coward nor a tuff guy,I was raised to be a man not act like one.
I'm a very firm believer in right prevailing over wrong every time,if my personal convictions lead me to hit the shoulder and clear the seat
when called, then I'm knee deep in it.

Its no different to me then flat spotting 8 tires to help with an issue on the shoulder.

Some of you couch driving toads need to get a grip, your post counts and thank you flower Talley's mean nothing out here where some people bust their ### to have the things they own.

Admins and Moderators can not save you from whats very well coming your way :biggrin_2556:

From the way the article read, the guy in the lead truck started it by crying about the other guy tailgating him, whether he was or not isn't really relevant. The lead guy lured the guy out to fight and then pulled a blade and murdered the other guy. That's enough for murder one.
