I wasn’t paying attention as I had done all my concrete work few years before but yesterday I saw the price and it struck me as being high. But I’m not sure.

$4 a bag for 60 lbs or $5.50 a bag for the 80 lbs? I think that's pretty cheap for small jobs.

What kind of work is he going to be doing? Reason I ask is because unless something has changed in the past year, you do not need any degrees to be an auto tech. Hell ASE's are laughed at by most places that aren't using it as an advertisement scheme. Stealerships don't even recognize them.

Well, I thought the same as you. I didn't know about opportunities up there. I didn't want him ending up working hard for little money all his life. I actually was trying to stir him away. But then I learned about these programs a few schools have in the country. And there are people making a lot of money in the industry.

He picked one, so he can have a degree too.

They are very selective who gets in. They have many areas you can specialize in. You don't need to also end up being a technician. At the end you can have an office job. It depends what one chooses to do.

He already has ASE. He got certified in high school. I am not sure what he will end up doing. I want him to specialize in two areas, not one.

These guys end up with high salaries when they finish over there. And get hired even before they graduate.
They need to have GPA 3.5 or higher throughout the program to get their dream job.

Bought a full pallet at Home Depot Friday for $211. 42 80lb bags. Just over $5 a bag. I’m ok with that....

Just can’t afford the 2-by’s to form up for the pour......lol.

    Correct:

It is just FALSE to keep claiming 8% inflation when things doubled in costs.
I can't even find chicken breasts at ALDI at a discount anymore. My dog eats one breast per day. $250 extra per month to buy only chicken for your dog per month is pretty bad.
Nobody should be driving for low pay.
Everyone is raising prices on products, but it doesn't go to delivery guys. Nor does it cover extra for the fuel.
