Rates are crashing and fuel to the moon!

No plan to bring down energy prices but doing a #### good job of making them worse!

 

Im more interested to know if some places are starting to run out of gas.

 

Honestly, I'm fine with fuel prices. Doesn't matter whose fault it is, it will get blamed on the current administration. Nothing will turn these prices around in time for midterms.

Plus, I'm in the market for a hood.

 

I don’t like them, I don’t like what it has cost some of my friends who don’t even drive trucks and are dealing with it and the inflation, good hard working people having to work harder. But, I’m not a dude who sits around and thinks the worst all the time either. I mean it makes it simple to know my old trucks fuel cost and I’m still so happy I don’t have any equipment payments. It makes some choices easier than others in a way. Whether I take a load or not is all on me. I don’t expect shippers/receivers/brokers to give two shats about me or my side of things so I don’t spend a lot of time thinking about it. If it becomes unprofitable I will do something else for awhile.

I always watch truck prices and you may be coming up on a perfect time to buy soon. Prices are dropping at a rapid pace and I have seen some drop as much at 10k in a week. It’s going to keep dropping for sure. I’m seeing a lot of for sale signs popping up.

 

We are reliving the 1970's so I expect a Middle East war is next and that will double fuel prices.
