2013 volvo d13 whistle noise

Mine has done this on and off for years. I have never completely solved it. It’s better since I replaced My flex pipe though.

 

I have a 2019 that has this whistle. I've only had the truck about a month so wasn't sure if it was normal or not. Sounds like 'not'! Quite annoying though. Usually when the engine is under load, but not too much load. Whistle seems to go away above about 30 psi boost. Strongest between 10 and 20 psi. I'll have to check on the EGR....another possible $$$$

 

Just had on i repaired, boost hoses with crimp clamps leak boost under a pull and makes a whistle update with new hoses with clamps and should be good.
