I am not inclined to get into these scrums… however have you actually used or seen the “real” Landstar load board?
Compared it load for load to the same load posted on Truckstop or DAT?
Rates are crashing and fuel to the moon!

I really have no idea as I have never leased to them, but I am aware of some very successful LS BCOs.Tug Toy, dunchues, Dadetrucking305 and 8 others Thank this. -
Dave_in_AZ Thanks this.

Many where you have the freedom to book whatever you want.
Just a DAT load board sub gives you access to countless loads and brokers. -
Of course you can do much of the same stuff without leasing on as you said. So really it is up to the business owner to decide his/her way of life. The 25% just doesn’t scare me after really studying it.
On another note… I do always wonder why as soon as someone states they are going on their own the question is always who to lease on to, who does factoring and where can I get a dispatcher… I’ve been asked that twice in the last week. Why???God prefers Diesels, gentleroger, Oxbow and 2 others Thank this. -
I post my truck, that's the way I usually get the most money.
The best loads are the ones from desperate brokers who are actively seeking trucks for a load that MUST be covered.RefMata, Dave_in_AZ, ProfessionalNoticer and 1 other person Thank this. -
D.Tibbitt and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.
