I just got an email from the Petro points system, saying that as of Feb 1st, Elkton MD, Carnesville GA, Ruther Glen VA, and Florence SC would no longer be Petros!
Anybody have the inside scoop for what is happening, or if or what they will become?
4 less Petros!

I'm guessing they are converting them to TA. Since TA bought Petro. Or perhaps those are independently owned locations that franchised to Petro & TA don't want to pay those franchise fees?
-
Petro's web site does not show any of these closing.
-
A month or so a go I was looking at one of the wall mounted location maps at a Petro, and noticed a few locations were missing. Those might have been them.
-
It's on the Petro kiosks.... But it flashes by so quickly it is hard to read
-
Well if TA is converting them over... you know the quality of the food will go down the drain and the prices will be even higher. For the most part, TA does not do a good job at all converting places over that it bought.

The TA in OKC was full of ###### until I called a TV station and complained about them condoning prostitution and the polic not doing anything about it. All because one told me to shutup abot 3 times when all I wanted were directions to our terminal from another driver. Told her I'd do something she'd be sorry for. HAHAHAHAHA

They're almost as bad as Pilot.Pilot can't wait to rip out the restaurant in a truck stop they just bought so that they can put junk food in it's place.
-
I know the Petro in Florence is privately owned so I would have to assume they don't want to pay the franchise fees. ###### good place to eat sure hope they stay open.

Yes, the Florence one is independant, and so is the Petro in Carnesville.
