Couple questions... this was loaded off one of those hydraulic affairs you back into it and its placed on the deck as THEY put the load together. Not loaded piece by piece that I could maybe control how it went on.
They REFUSED to touch any of it or rework any of it. I tried, but didnt feel I could get straps tight at all, and safe. The steel under the crate is held by the crate, it has to be tight? I sent pics back to my company, they sent an email to them, the loader got pissed, she lost her mind and was ignorant, she wouldn't do anything as far as a rework, so it came off.
How much of these beams can be unsupported by dunnage? Pics from each side.
And... there is no way to strap the steel under the crate, too much steel piled behind. Crate is made from flimsy strapping, not allowed to strap THRU the crate it's all finish metal and there is a sign on the crate to not crush it...
On top of the pile of steel beside the crate is a long pallett of more "finish metal" that is on a 2x4 pallett. With sheets of flat metal you cant put a strap on, you have to strap over the ends of the 2x4's, that will most likely break.
