Same with pay, I get 25% of the load. I often make over $1 per mile. But I do reefer work so there is alot of sitting at docks and hurry up and waiting. Somewhere around $1400 gross is average for me. But I also only work 4-5 days and then I'm off for 2-3 days. I need to make more but it is a great job.

My gross for last week was $2200. Lots of miles right now.

Flats has a big learning curve, that's for sure. Especially when they start giving you osow. Hunt doesn't really do overweight and I don't think they do those large oversized loads, like those mobile construction offices.

Its usually some big carbine they put on an RNG. I like hauling those RNGs. They are fun to pull. You have to be careful though, they ride low. Swing extra wide. No curb action.

I just started at a small carrier after 2 years at a mega and get paid 23.5% in reefer and averaged around $0.67 a mile my first two weeks here. They know how to dispatch too. 3,558 and 3,467 miles the past two weeks governed at 65.

You can get 70+ CPM in tanker if you relocate to a major lane

edit: I know Linde in Joliet (Chicagoland) is at 73cpm. I heard some companies out east are in that range too. My compensation comes out to somewhere in the 70-85cpm range (also Joliet)

Im not allowed to recruit off the general threads.

If you want to know the company you’ll have to search the job posting forum.
