Gun control is not the American way!

I already told you my answer, and surely you've done enough research to know a man with a knife is more deadly than a man with a gun from inside of 21', right? Won't help me in a long range situation, but if we're in a convenience store in Chicago.....I'm winning.

 

@gentleroger what's your realistic solution to solving these issues?

 

• Enforce the laws already on the books.
• Mandatory background check and permitting similar to the Swiss
• Mandatory annual qualification test.
• All firearm sales must conform to the same standards FFLs are supposed to follow. If the rules aren't followed then the seller gets charged with a straw purchase type felony.
• Minimum age to own a weapon is 21
• No carrying, except to go to and from the range.

Notice I never once said "ban guns"?

But none of that will happen, so with every mass shooting the call for banning guns will get louder.

That I can get behind. We have roughly 20,000 laws already on the books. First and foremost is "don't murder people".

Not 100% familiar, but if an FFL has to follow it, then I think every seller should.

If we don't consider someone responsible enough to drink, then they shouldn't have a firearm.

And if you want to require everyone to re-register for every election, I'm on board. The problem with most of the voter roll purges is they tend to be "selective", but I won't say more on the open forum.

And if you're all for enforcing the law, why did you push back a few days ago when I said gun dealers who break the law should have their licenses revoked?
