Big Orange buys out Deboer

They didn't buy much , can't believe it's even news.

 

Most of the trailers on my Schneider dedicated account are air ride with the air release pins. A few days ago another driver stopped me in the customers yard as I was driving by and had no idea how slide the tandems. I think he must have been filling in from the OTR fleet. It really makes me appreciate the air ride every time I have to bounce down the road with one of the orange TA trailers.

 

I worked for deboer for a few months, they were horrible. Edit most of the trailers when I worked for them were old Swift trailers.

 

Don’t be surprised if there’s a mass exodus to other companies.

 

I graduated from truck driving school in sun praire 26 years ago this month and deboer hired out of there, i knew several students that went to drive for them. I ran into one of them 1.5 years later in Arizona and he was very happy he just got a brand new international eagle conversational and was heading to California. He also told me my roommate in school went there and rolled a truck. Was wondering if anybody is still there from back in 96.

 

Why? Schneider is offering industry-leading pay according to their ads.

Looks like they're all spring ride trailers and they're already jacked up.

Well, about 18 or so deBoer trucks showed up at the Wilmer OC since I left on Thursday. The way and where they’re parked makes me think there’s probably no drivers currently assigned to them. Have to say, I wouldn’t mind a Volvo, and it looks like they have APUs.
