Trucker friendly bank? Who do you use?

Down here, we've used Suntrust (like them as I got great treatment from the branch I used) and Wachovia (don't get me started!). Wachovia holds T checks (and Comchecks, TCH, etc) til midnight. The logic (?) was it's on paper!

You people using your computers to do on line transactions I hope you do not use "free wifi" sites! If so you are taking a big chance at having your information and idenity stolen!

I by pass any ATM fees buy going to a store and buying something I need and then getting cash back with the transaction! Saves the $2.90 or what ever they charge these days at the truck stops! I never needed more than $100 in my pocket for a week.

 

Use Debt cards on the Credit option when you can,keep your Pin# safer.

They dont have any "brick and morter" branches, but there products and services are second to none. There core customers come from a military background. They have a long history. I have yet to find and auto insurance company that can (for me) beat there rates.

I have checking, savings, CC, IRA, MM Account, Auto Insurance, and have had 2 auto loans from them.

You can deposit checks at home, they have Apps avail through I-phone and Blackberry, free ATM withdrawals, ect.

What happened?

 

I use Wachovia; but I'm not a trucker. I like the fact that I can avoid an ATM fee by going to the ATM at my local QT gas station. There's a lot of those down here. They are definitely behind the times on holding deposited checks. I just cash my check at the bank it's drawn on then deposit the cash at the nearest Wachovia. Yes, that's annoying but I haven't figured out a better way yet.

My ex-bf is a trucker and he uses the Green Dot Card. He has his check direct deposited to that. To the best of my knowledge he never had a problem with it.
