Both Crete and swift offered me .70-.72 CPM, dedicated route 2400-2600 weekly miles. I’ve got almost four recent years squeaky clean record:
In my humble research and experience for 2-5 years experience, AVERAGE CPM Dry van OTR is about 58-60. With half paying more, half tryin to pay less and losing drivers.

Dont take my word, just go look for yourself.

I understand as the economy crashes and it’s gonna crash, rates will come down, but personally I won’t live on a truck for less that $1000 weekly TAKE HOME. I’ll go flip burgers if it gets below that.

Exactly, just because someone is paid hourly, doesn't mean it's a good rate. $25 or less per hour is a scam also lol

That all depends upon where you live, because there are wide swaths of the country where $22-25 is a fine living because houses average <$150k, thereby lowering the cost of everything due to lower overhead.

I had typed up a long reply as to why $25 is not a scam, then my curiosity just got the best of me and I looked at your location. 25 maple leafs are equal to about $19.30 bald eagles... so maybe with your cost of living and currency, your $25 isn't worth much. Here in much of the rural US, however, our $25 can get you a $200,000 home on acreage or a $100,000 home in town with a massive, growing nest egg for retirement, as you could reasonably put an additional $600/mo toward retirement accounts.

Well thats negligible, have to remember Canada has a lower cost of living overall. Either way no one should be selling their driving skills for less than 25, even 30 these days with inflation. Personally, I won't for anything under $35, regardless of my cost of living.

I can't think of a place in Canada where the homes average below $150k...

Notice how I said overall...of course there will be smaller towns with cheap houses, just because you don't know of any doesn't mean it doesn't exist. We have free health care so that right there can go toward a mortgage. Houses aren't the only expense there is?
