I'm just curious.. You can be completely honest with me.. Any of ya'll seen the diseal doc out there.. What is it.. Ohio or indiana? I had 1 of our w9s pass me the other day.. Atleast running 70.. Then a volvo passed me out on 80 in nebraska.. He was doing..... 70...75? Maybe faster.. I wanna have the doc atleast bump my power up...
But question.. If I was to go l/o.. Just a thought here.. Could I add stuff like a pitsburg power box, throtle body spacer, a aftermarket power house exhaust system? I mean.. They can't see increase in power can they? Just if you imcrease your mph?

Widow so glad to see you are up and posting,,,And hope you do start to get some sleep...I know with the babies here sleep has been hard to come by. I don't know but I think the first week of March I am taking them out to their parents....It will be a hardship (jk) I have to take them to Hawaii...That is where dad is stationed...But yes Widow I agree when I first came to the forum and found it I made the statement then and will make it again..If I had found it before my marriage would of worked out..This would of given me the family that I so missed being OTR.

The trucks you seen going that fast were either true Owner Ops or they want to get fired, the QC lets Central know how fast your going!Donnyh Thanks this.

What are the Central lease trucks governed at?
-
I suspect it's because the vets, the people with 8-10 years or more, either don't work for Central, or don't post on the forums.
I know 4 people who've been with Central 8-12 years, and 3 of the 4 complain quite a bit, but always over the phone, not online.Donnyh Thanks this. -
65 miles per hour.

Thank you. Very possibly looking for another job...left England this summer, have run wide open for a small company in Spokane, but now the guy is having cash flow and temper tantrum issues. I have several years of experience, and just need a good stable place for a year until I go back on active military duty.

One more question, if you don't mind - do company drivers have to team, like the CR England folks were forced into doing?
-
You can go to the Diesel Doc, pay your money, and get your truck turned up. And when you do, he's gonna turn around, call Central with your truck number, and get the reward from them for turning you in, in addition to your money, and you're going to get fired.
If it's a company truck, why are you bothering to pay money to increase power on it? Central won't pay you back. And, with the way most of the trucks are, you're not going to see any improvement.
There are some things you can do if you're a lease op. And increasing your power is allowed in your contract, I've known a couple people who've had their trucks dyno'd and changed around to increase the power so they pull hills better. That's within the contract, but increasing past 65 mph is not.
If you're talking about being a lease op though, where are you going to get the money for all these after market addons? If you have the money for them now, why not independently buy a truck and make payments? And, if you don't have the money, do you really think you're going to be making enough with Central to add on all these pretty things?
