So Little Man walks up to me and says now that's he has worn his suit twice that maybe we should look into another suit, like that navy blue with "the skinny stripe". Cause it looks like he will be going to places where suits are needed. (Everyone is listening now.) Where will you need a suit next? Well ahhh church stuff, LM informs me. Yeah, where else? Looking down scuffing the sole of this worn tennis shoe, yes ma'am. Mom grabs her wallet and hands me her credit card, to get him this navy suit, couple of shirts to go with it and new tennis shoes. One of the guys bought a truck this week at auction- '96 IH dump with an N-14. He got it last night & half way home (like 15 miles) CEL comes on & it de-rates. Went to look at it this morning & as I'm going through stuff hey, lookie here 4.56mpg lifetime average... he flips! "AYFKM?!?!?! That's like over a buck a mile in fuel these days!!!!! Ahhhhhhhh!!!!"

Is idle included to come up with that number? Theres an N14 525 that runs with my guys quite a bit. His is doing 5.5 pulling b-trains. Even counting the smaller gal 4.5 seems like a ridiculous number for a US truck.

 

After changing a disc brake can today I don't think I'll ever own another truck with drums.

109 in the shade wasn't so nice though.

 

Plow truck and an aftermarket POS DPF system probably had something to do with it I'd guess.
