We were back to the dentist today where her local Cajun dentist said those implants need to come out as the infection is back, if it really ever went away. AND since we don't know what made you crash we needed to do this without any anesthesia of any kind.
I -think- she asked about his sanity, but she spoke so quickly that I am not sure. The dentist replied even faster. I looked at Uncle Mac and he says 'No Habla'. Thanks Uncle Mac! They continue to go back and forth in Cajun. Finally Mom says get it done.
The dentist comes back in with that preshot numbing stuff. Uses a ton of it then sits down and asks, "You ready?" She replied in Cajun, what ever it was made him laugh.
I am not a wuss when it comes to pain but the sound of bone grinding as he removed both implants then cleaned up the slivers of bone, never hearing that again will be to soon. He had to slice away the gums to get all of it done. He confirmed that they infection was rampant and he was going to put her back on IV antibiotics.
He asked if she was okay or nauseous. She said she was fine. He called in the prescription to the compounder and a 4 day script for oxy. She tried to get up and fell back into the chair. You can tell things are not following her orders. Uncle Mac comes over and sweeps her up softly saying I gotcha Bee, no worries.
We get close to the truck and she says down hurry. Mac sets her down and she had the dry heaves, a little coffee comes back up but it is a reaction to the pain. The doctor rushes over with a squeeze bottle to wash out her mouth and open wound. He explains how to use it with distilled water and sends it home with us.
She can't get out of the truck when we get home so Mac sweeps her up again walking to the house.
She is home and in bed, but not great. More latter.
