Apu rough idle/blowing soot

Were you able to find the solution for this?my apu is doing exactly the same thing.but on mine when it bogs down i just unplug the ac compressor plug let the motor build up speed and plug it back in it works fine.it only does it at start up.

 

Guys if tripac bog down when a/c compressor kick in then you need to put this part on compressor. Thermo king 22-1053 ! there was a thread about this issue in this forum about year ago

 

Take the belt off and try starting it

 

What’s the reason for changing that part out?i have aftermarket compressor.

 

I really don't know. Looks like related to amount of refrigerant entering compressor. The update was released by Thermo King.
