Went with my wife and children to a restaurant called “Spicy India “ food was great! Very Spicy Indeed! Lol
After eating we went to the local museum and my wife bought me a pamphlet that takes you back to 1961 when I was born and basically it will show you color advertisements and price index during such time.
I thought it would be nice to share and laugh on how things have change over the years especially when you can compare the cost of living from 1961 to now.
There is about 10 pictures… The picture titled “1961 Cost Of Living “ was really fun to read!

I'm a little younger than you. Was born in 1968. And I once ran across where someone uploaded the toy section from a 1976 Sears Christmas catalog. Hit me square in the nostalgia.Silverdriver, gntorres61, 48Packard and 3 others Thank this. -
We had that exact typewriter, same color and all. Dad hijacked it for his first medical office in 1968. I was born in late 1960.Silverdriver and dwells40 Thank this. -

They called me yesterday on my 34 and asked if I wanted a Hill-Phoenix load to Mayfield Heights, OH. Was only about 470 miles, due tomorrow at 8:00am. Wasn't a super exciting load, but I said "Sure". And now it sounds like I made the right move since all these other loads are falling through.
