Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

I live in Nebraska. I have a total of about 5 years driving experience otr. I drove for 4+ years then got off the road. I have been back at it for a few months now, hauling cars. Driving a 2002 international, with a 7 car cottrell trailer. I really enjoy the car business, just this deal isnt working. He is also a small company, and cant ever pay on time. I am still waiting today for last week check. Everything else is great with him, and he will pay me, it will just be late. Every company has a few problems, this just happens to be his. It would have to be the right deal, but would love to here more. sorry couldn't pm.

This company is still looking for 2 drivers with car hauling experience. They are looking for a driver that lives in the mid-west, but it is not required. The company is located in California, however there is a lot of cars moving in the Midwest. Please PM or post with your experience and I will give you the number of the person to contact.
Thanks. -
I PM'd ya...

is it your impression that a company like this would consider taking a team that has our own equipment but less than a year experience? I feel that the only way to get experience is to just get a 1 ton and a 3-4 car hauler to or an older headrack truck w/ trailer and wing it for a year with a small broker. Gotta start somehow. I've operated tow truck before and loved it. I know its vastly different hauling 9 or 10 cars but we're healthy and agile and willing to work for cheap to get our foot in the door. Any Ideas?
