Think of what could be done with platooning if that comes about before too long. You’d still have one driver in the truck, but you could basically run two team loads long distance with only one driver per truck. Second truck platoons off the first while the driver gets his rest break, then switch and the fresh driver takes the lead spot. Really it could be done with more than two trucks, everyone except the lead truck is sleeping behind them.

Ya but your pay would be the same. Not more. Remember corps give you more responsibility but not more money. If you say you are an owner operator, then maybe you can piece together loads like partials. Maybe that will work. -
