Keri and the Army guy are planning to return to NC Saturday and see if they can find some seafood that looks good to them. What I am craving is some Mt Trout with maybe a baked tater and some homemade hushpuppies. One of my neighbors is planning a fishing trip in West Virginia, might see he will bring back some good Trout!

    We are woke!!!!!

That was a pretty epic rhinoceros sleep. We have woke to find our delivery schedule somewhat whacked.

The OM is taking it rather well however since we are planning on going home afterwards.

Still need @Opus to take that truck.

Got to find out if the vet is going on long holiday cause I don't know if the vetsulin will make it to the 5th.

Might need to employ The Sheila for an op.

We have been given back to back to back free coffees.

    This greatly pleases The OM.

Heck if I had saddled up when I first broke down last Friday, I could have been there by now.
The Hazul was kind enough to come up and keep me company, but she's going to bail out just as soon as she can drag her narra arse out of the fart sack.
The kind people at the shop say I should be rolling tomorrow morning.

I'm almost sure I will have lost my mind by then.

Personally i believe trout is only good to eat if you cook it within 2 hours after pulling it out of the water. After that is gets eh

I agree, but I live right on the Atlantic coast, and getting freshwater Trout that is fresh is almost impossible. This neighbor goes to West Virginia several times a year. So far I have not been disappointed with what they have brought back.

Keri is making stuffed green peppers tonight. In fact, she left here about 30 minutes ago to get some things for dinner tonight!

I get that and feel sorry for those that don't have a good fresh water lake nearby because I do enjoy fresh trout. We have a BBQ going when trout fishing just for that reason

I hear ya...does Red Trout count? Theres a joint near us that makes an absolutely fantastic Red Trout Salad. Very fresh bed of greens with some kinda' yummy rice/light cheesy sauce over top with a beautiful filet staring you in the mouth.

This neighbor has invited me to go with him next year when he goes back fishing. This will be after Keri gets married and moved on to Clarksville Tenn. I suspect this is when I will really enjoy that trout! I have been told there are some good trout to be found all around the Ft Campbell area.
