Are teachers just getting more ignorant these days? No wonder different states are cutting morefunds from schools.

last time i went to a progress report for my oldest most of the boys hair were as long as my duaghters.......just sayin.......GET THEIR FRICKIN HAIR CUT!!!

 

Not surprising. Last time I was in Cincinnati I was stuck at a stop light for 20 minutes because the people turning left across the intersection were too stupid to stop when their light turned yellow and kept the intersection blocked the whole time. I finally had to just barge through NYC style.

 

Yes they are. There starting to get out of hand.

 

They should all be fired! This really ticks me off.

 

If it is true, the school should find a way to publicly humiliate her.

 

There are some cultures that discourage cutting of hair on boys and men. Traditional Jews do not cut a boy's hair until the age of three. 'Skins traditionally only cut hair for war and mourning. Although you rarely see it today, Norsemen did not cut their hair. Same for Chinese...a Chinese elder with long hair was highly venerated. Today, happily, it is far more acceptable for a person to be who and what he or she was born to be rather than try to fit into societal norms.

So, Broncrider, while it may suit your ideals for all those of the male gender to have that ridiculous bowl cut or a high-n-tight, standards have changed. I, for one, am glad they have. There isn't much that makes me look twice more than a man with lush, healthy, long hair.

These so-called adults should be placed in stocks in the public square and belittled in the same manner as they did this boy. Had this been a Native boy on the Rez, they would still be looking for them. You never, ever touch a traditional Native's hair without express consent.
