Sounds like a nice set-up Flash. I think I recall you saying you had either Dish Network or Direct TV. How do you capture the signal in your truck? Do you use the 'view cube' or will the sat provider install a dish on the tractor like they do on a residence? From there I would imagine you send the signal to a converter box, and then to the TV, right? Can you pick up local channels in whatever area your in at the moment, or are you limited to the same local channels as at home (assuming you are using the same sat provider at home)?

 

**sigh** still # home with an unneeded vacation. The ###### Volvo dealer better be finished with my truck tomorrow... They had it for a week and im preset for a load on Sat. They should have given me that International they HAD me in when I upgraded.

 

Unless the prostar was broke in past 100k.. You would be sittin in it to.. My prostar I had when I first started has 25'k on it when I recovered it.. Due to horrible manf. Warrenty items and just stupid stuff.. The prostar was horrible to me.. I AM not being cute or funny about this.. For a month and a half.. I would stay in a motel every week for a min of 2 days.. My prostar was always breakin.. ALWAYS!!

My kw has 266k on it.. And its been great to me!! I love the dependablity of kenworths.. Their just like a ford.. Build tuff for the workin man!!

 

Wow! I guess I'm lucky that its broken while I'm at home! How was the turning radius on the prostar? I trained in a w9 and found that turning radius was crap compared to the Volvo. Sometimes it took me 3 or 4 times to back into a dock with the w9 and with the volvo i get it the 1st time.

Went to the doctor today. Things didn't go as well as I had hoped. The doctor took out every other staple the rest will come out on Feb 8th. And I am now on very strick bed rest till I go back to him. Or he will hospitalize me again to keep me in bed. Doesn't these dang docs know I'm addicted to this thread and facebook. They need to realize I have kids that need to be taken care of and can't spend 24 hours a day in bed.
1bad is in Conley waiting to get his truck worked on. I am hopeing he gets to spend the night her at home but that could be wishful thinking. Anyway if you are in Conley and see the dawg house with a semi short dude, with dark brown hair and gotee with a camo GA hat on that would be him walk up and say Hi he could use someone to talk to to pass the time because I'm going to bed or the doc and mama will kill me.

Be safe if your headed up the east coast I hear on the weather channell it's gonna be nasty weather. Up to 8 in of snow and Ice in the carolinas and VA!
