Rates are crashing and fuel to the moon!

Jb hunt just sent email, they are looking for dedicated power only o/o for a 600 mile round trip, pay is 1k per trip.

I sent em an email and rate quote. Let’s see if they respond.

 

Seems to be an uptick in power only. I got an email from somebody I’ve never heard of. Dedicated Power only. Round Trip Auto parts from my area. JB uses others when needed, I always saw it as a sign of good freight volumes, if only temporary. They focus so much anymore on short and rail. They don’t invest in OTR. Easier to use others when needed, drop them when it slows.

 

The one's that have been getting covered by me this week, have paid very well... I was tarping/untarping yesterday and today in the midwest heat smiling the whole time...

I'll let you rental wagon flatbedders fight over the fuel money strap and go loads that's been hitting the boards and disappearing in seconds...

That is less than $1.70 per mile. They are sending such emails to thousands every single day.

 

I know but he responded with a no. I got nothing to lose so I gave him my rate.

 

It was a waste of time. I'm surprised you received a response. Pretty sure he already has another loser in the net.
